Position Description

Knovo creates digital twins of spaces and turns data and analytics into actionable insights to transform the customer experience.

We are looking for a Space Design & Placement Validation expert that excels at validating and analyzing pre and post construction installation work against both the client’s standards but also the overall design intent and client experience for their branch/banking spaces.

The successful candidate will have experience in reviewing various data sources, including 3D scans, drawings, and other project documentation to review completed work against the clients’ standards and guidelines to identify, validate and consolidate multiple data points, assets, and a general space review.

Merchandising and other elements are reviewed to confirm installation completeness per design plan, specifications, and general overall look and feel. The information evaluated will allow our clients to proactively track the installation completion of all the elements and assets; deliver on business requirements, improve space performance, and enhance the customer experience.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Review space designs to validate placement and positioning of all merchandising, furniture, fixture, and operational elements to confirm completeness per specifications and alignment to standards and desired client experience
  • Detailed tracking and reporting of findings and recommendations
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders to action findings
  • Provide progress reports to all stakeholders
  • Leverage technology & tools available such as 3D models, and other data sources to construct, review and QC space reviews (before and after construction or installation projects)
  • Develop, consolidate, and analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends and analytics that inform future space planning and decision making
  • Activate key insights and learnings to drive design, financial, experiential, and operational performance
  • Manage and distribute the data to the right teams ensuring that all key stakeholders have the required information
  • Run reports on a regular basis or if requested by the team or client
  • Develop processes and applications that will streamline workflows and maximize team effectiveness
  • Coordinate and oversee a growing team and program
  • Subject matter expert and main contact for managing communications with internal and external resources

Qualifications:

  • A diploma or degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience with space planning, store/branch design or visual merchandising as a key focus
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, written, and oral communication skills
  • Awareness of industry trends relating to retail store and branch banking space design
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, and other internal/external teams
  • Microsoft Power BI experience is an asset
  • QuickBase experience is an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Apps)
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks within a tight time schedule
  • Strong work ethic and highly developed problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy working under time constraints and ability to excel under pressure
