Knovo creates digital twins of spaces and turns data and analytics into actionable insights to transform the customer experience.

We are looking for an Architectural Technologist with strong proficiency in Revit and BIM Management who excels in consolidating and generating BIM models using Revit. Typical models include a variety of specifications such as furniture, fixtures, equipment, and other interior/exterior design elements from commercial, retail, hospitality, and workplace industries. The models with be used as a tool to enhance the client experience, create design visualizations, test fits, new design proposals, as-built packages, and new construction packages.

This role will need to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, can communicate effectively, has a strong attention to detail with a focus on results and excels in fast-paced environments.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Create and edit high-end detailed architectural BIM Models
  • Work on a group of assigned sites and deliver the packages within established timelines and project expectations
  • Develop, implement, manage the modelling process in a collaborative manner across the team
  • Continually propose innovations and improvements to current processes
  • Implement all approved innovations and process improvements across the team
  • Coach and guide other team members and provide overall program support to ensure client expectations are exceeded
  • Leverage technology tools such as 3D models, point clouds and other data sources to construct, review and quality assure (QA) accuracy within the architectural models
  • Complete QA exercises for both own and others’ design packages, looking for accuracy, and opportunities for improvement
  • Work closely and collaboratively with a cross-functional team of Architectural Technologists, CAD Technicians, Data Visualization Specialists and Data Analysts in order to deliver exceptional client deliverables

Qualifications:

  • A Technical diploma or Degree in Architecture or a related field
  • At least five years of professional experience with a variety of design and BIM Models
  • Strong proficiency with Revit
  • Proficiency with V-ray, Lumion, Enscape, Twin Motion and/or other rendering tools
  • Dynamo / Parametric Design knowledge is an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, and other internal/external teams
  • Project Management/Coordination experience is an asset
  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks within a tight schedule
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, written, and oral communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and highly developed problem-solving skills
  • Enjoy working under time constraints and ability to excel under pressure
