The Role

This is a senior leadership role responsible for owning project delivery excellence across Knovo’s portfolio.

As Project Director, you will provide strategic oversight across multiple initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead and mentor Project Managers and Project Coordinators, while working closely with Design and Data teams to ensure they are supported, informed, and set up for success.

This role requires a balance of strategic leadership, delivery discipline, and cross-functional collaboration. You will set standards, remove obstacles, manage risk, and ensure project teams operate smoothly so Design and Data teams can focus on what they do best.If you thrive in complex environments and enjoy enabling teams while delivering outstanding client outcomes, this role is for you.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Project & Portfolio Leadership

  • Provide leadership and direction across multiple concurrent projects and programs
  • Own portfolio-level delivery, ensuring alignment to scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations
  • Establish and enforce consistent project management standards, workflows, and reporting
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for delivery risks, issues, and client concerns

People Leadership (Project Management Team)

  • Lead, mentor, and support Project Managers and Project Coordinators
  • Set clear priorities, expectations, and performance standards for the project delivery team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with leadership to support hiring, onboarding, and capacity planning for the project team

Cross-Functional Enablement

  • Partner closely with Design and Data teams to ensure projects are properly scoped, sequenced, and resourced
  • Ensure project teams provide clear direction, timelines, and requirements to all partners
  • Remove delivery obstacles and manage dependencies so cross-functional teams can work efficiently
  • Support smooth handoffs between project planning, execution, and delivery

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a trusted senior advisor to clients on delivery strategy, timelines, and execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Lead high-level project reviews, status updates, and executive communications
  • Ensure client expectations are clearly set, managed, and met

Governance, Financials & Reporting

  • Oversee project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and variance management for internal and external stakeholders at operational and executive levels
  • Ensure accurate, timely reporting on project status, risks, and financial performance
  • Provide leadership with portfolio-level insights, trends, and recommendations

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in project or program management
  • Proven experience leading Project Teams
  • Strong understanding of project management principles including communications, planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, and resource utilization
  • Experience delivering complex, multi-project programs
  • Strong ability to collaborate with Design, Data, and other cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a detail-oriented, adaptive, and client-focused mindset
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present complex information clearly and tell a compelling story with data
  • Strong work ethic and advanced problem-solving skills
  • PMP or similar certification is an asset

Location:

This position is in the Hollywood, Florida office, with an opportunity for a hybrid work model (office and work from home)
