The Role

As a Data Visualization Specialist, you will play a hands-on role in capturing, reviewing, and translating site data into structured, reliable information that powers client programs and decision-making. You’ll work with immersive 3D models, visual documentation, and multiple data sources to identify, track, and validate assets, standards, and attributes across large location networks.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Visual Data Capture & Review

• Review multiple data sources, including 3D immersive models, to identify, track, and document client standards, assets, and attributes
• Capture accurate visual and spatial data to support large, multi-location client programs
• Build and maintain client standards libraries to ensure data is collected consistently and correctly

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Complete detailed quality assurance checks on your own work and that of other team members to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Review work completed by external partners and vendors against client standards and application guidelines
• Identify deficiencies and document findings in detailed punch lists that are clear, actionable, and trackable through resolution

Documentation, Process & Innovation

• Support the development of standards, processes, and documentation to improve how visual data is collected, organized, and reported
• Continuously identify opportunities for improvement or automation to make visual data capture more efficient and scalable

Insights, Trends & Client Support

• Work with large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in client programs
• Support dashboard development and reporting by ensuring underlying data is accurate, complete, and client-ready
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, consultants, and clients to support successful delivery of initiatives

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Data Analysis, Merchandising, Interior Design, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in data, visualization, or client experience-related roles
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or similar design tools is an asset
• Experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI, or similar tools is an asset
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight timelines
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic with well-developed problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform well under pressure and time constraints
